Enchanted Wings Nature Center, in Copan Ruinas, Honduras, was formed by a consortium of partners of family and friends that were interested in opening up a Nature Center to fulfill the needs of visiting tourists and act as an educational facility.
It is a unique center in Honduras that is in reality a living laboratory that houses a preserved butterfly collection, a live butterfly breeding program, an enclosed butterfly flyway, open air butterfly gardens, native orchid exhibit and botanical gardens. We hope to add a reptile/snake exhibit and insect museum in the long run.
We welcome you to come and visit, at any time of year, to enjoy the wide array of flora and fauna we have amassed in one site for your enjoyment and learning.
